Feeding Families in Latvia: With the unexpected arrival of food packages, many large families in Latvia found their financial burden lightened in 2000. These packages, filled with flour, tea, cereals, sugar, fruit and vegetables, came from the Union of Large Families through a joint donation from Kraft Foods International and Philip Morris International. you find our products, you will also find our people working to improve quality of life by donating time, funds or food.

In just six months, this Direct Food Assistance program touched the lives of more than 120 families and 450 children in this Eastern European nation, enabling them to save money for life-enhancing educational and cultural activities. The partnership between business and communities was heralded as a welcome new trend in Latvia, and earned high praise from the families, the President's office and Parliament.
