Michael J. Kinney, Senior Vice President Finance & Strategy, Kraft Foods International

Michael J. Kinney was appointed Senior Vice President Finance & Strategy for Kraft Foods International, headquartered in Rye Brook, New York, in 1997. Mr. Kinney was previously President of Philip Morris Capital Corporation (PMCC). He joined PMCC in 1984 and held various senior executive positions within the company until his appointment as President in 1994.

Before joining the company, Mr. Kinney was associated with Bankers Trust Company, where he was a Vice President in Capital Markets. From 1980 to 1983, Mr. Kinney was Vice President of Continental Illinois Leasing Corporation.

Prior to this, he held various marketing positions at General Electric Capital Corporation. He was a retail stockbroker for Merrill Lynch from 1973 to 1976.

Mr. Kinney holds a M.B.A. degree in finance from the University of Bridgeport, and a B.A. degree in business administration from Sacred Heart University.
